The Coolers The band comprises of musicians who have all played on various tours with established stars, and are considered to be the cream of top musicians in the area. Roger Hughes on Keyboards and Bass, and Gavin Jones on Vocals are the mainstays of the band. A tight duo themselves, they spend their time between their heavy gigging schedule, their new music agency business – Pro Music UK Ltd and drinking. The rest of the band include Jasper Wilkinson or Johnny Heyes on Guitar and Greg Morgan or Steve Washington on Drums, with regular guest appearances from either Kenji Fenton on Tenor Sax or Dezi Donnelly on fiddle. The band set list ranges through all genres of music, from the sublime to the ridiculous, and that's part of the charm about them. There really is something for everyone. The band are as comfortable playing New York, New York, as they are playing Dirty Old Town, Suspicious Minds or I Feel Good, for them it really depends on what the crowd want, and this works particularly well for them. |
